​La Borde Neuve B&B in the Lot

La Borde Neuve is off the D7, between the small villages of Labastide Marnhac (6km) and Lascabanes (3km), about 15 km SW of Cahors.  Although our address is Cézac, we are actually in another valley on a different road (so don't head for Cézac or you will get lost!).  Also, our post code covers an area about 15 km across, so don't set your sat. nav. to find the post code alone, without also including the name of the house.

If you come down the main motorway (A20,E9) from the North, sat. navs. tend to take you down to junction 58, Cahors-Sud.  We think it is better to come off at junction 57, Cahors-Nord and then come round Cahors over the viaduct on the N20.  It is certainly less far, so you save on both fuel and tolls, and we think it is slightly quicker.

The nearest airports are Toulouse (114 km/1hr 20 mins), Bergerac (106 km 1hr 25 mins) and Brive le Gaillarde (119 km/1hr 15 mins) and the nearest train station is Cahors, about 25 minutes drive from here. Toulouse is a fairly major airport and operates all year round, but Bergerac, and especially Brive, have a more restricted service in the winter.  Cars can be hired at all three airports, as well as in Cahors.
